Event Summary This third module in a series of six assists delegates to understand the complexities of how the school is funded and the funding timetable; the statutory returns that are required and generating income.
Event description Designed with Headteachers and Deputy/Assistant Headteachers in mind, this module equips delegates with the necessary skills to monitor and understand the General Annual Grant Funding, the calculations of other funding streams and the timetable for reciept of government funding;  delegates will have the opportunity to review their own GAG Statement during the session. We will also look at self-generated income.

These courses contain practical demonstrations of how to correctly budget and account for traded activities - Catering, Breakfast and After school clubs.

Additional information
Delegates are requested to have a copy of their latest GAG Statement to refer to during the session.

This course will be conducted remotely via Microsoft teams. 
 
 
Learning outcomes

You will leave this course with the confidence to assess the academy's delegated income and understanding how that income is calculated, plus understanding how to set prices for traded activities.
