Event Summary Finance Officers in a school/academy need a diverse range of financial knowledge,including internal controls, financial administration and reporting requirements. This module is the second part covering the information needed to report effectively to Head teachers, and Governors, the current financial position.
Event description This is the fourth Module of the full set of six for the course. Part 4 will cover the information that should be reported monthly, how, when and to who. This will include reporting on control accounts, estimating carry forwards, trading accounts with business plans, tools for which will be demonstrated. There will be opportunities throughout the session for delegates to ask questions.

Learning outcomes Delegates will;
• gain knowledge, understand and confidence in completing control accounts, carry forward calculators and trading account reconciliations and reporting confidently on these to the Head, SLT & Governors/Trustees.
