Event Summary | Finance Officers in a school/academy need a diverse range of financial knowledge,including internal controls, financial administration and reporting requirements. This part is the cover the second part of the modules on monthly reporting the information needed to report effectively to Head teachers, and Governors, the current financial position. | ||||||
Event description | This is the fourth part of the full course, there are six parts in total, each part is a morning session. Part 4 will carry on from part 3 covering the information that should be reported monthly, how, when and to who. This will include the reporting on control accounts, estimating carry forwards, and trading accounts, tools for which will be demonstrated. There will be opportunities throughout the day for delegates to ask questions. | ||||||

Learning outcomes | Delegates will; • gain knowledge, understand and confidence in completing control accounts, carry forward calculators and trading account reconciliations and reporting confidently on these to the Head, SLT & Governors/Trustees. |
