Event description | Employees are a schools most important resource and there is significant evidence to show that a well-managed and supported workforce will ultimately deliver better outcomes for pupils. While the day to day management of staff is the responsibility of the headteacher and other managers, the Governing Body holds the overarching employer accountabilities and is responsible for determining HR policy and practice and for monitoring its effectiveness. In addition the Governing Body has direct responsibility for managing the headteacher. |
