Event description | Excluding a pupil involves a statutory process that governors should ensure they perform legally and effectively. Appeals have been lost because the panel has not attended recent training. | ||||||

Learning outcomes | The course offers a mixture of theory and practical advice. At the end of the session delegates will: • have an overview of the statutory guidance on the use of fixed period and permanent exclusion • be able to form a discipline committee to consider parental representations |
