In this course we will explore a range of strategies and activities for supporting struggling readers. | ||||||
| Event description | During the session we will consider several aspects of reading including: • Assessment - identifying the specific difficulties • Accuracy - including phonics • Comprehension • Fluency • Vocabulary and language • Finding and using appropriate texts Delegates will be provided with a range of practical ideas and activities to use within reading lessons and during extra support sessions. |
