Event Summary | This online course delivered via Microsoft Teams is designed for school finance staff and aims to give an overview of the processes involved in budget planning and monitoring, and to raise awareness of reporting responsibilities both internally and externally. |

Event description | The course covers different funding sources and explains how to understand the School Block Funding and S251 Statement. We will be focusing on the methods and processes of budgeting, and effective ways of monitoring the budget during the year, including reporting to governors and Trustees. There will be a demonstration to help embed your understanding as well as an optional exercise/quiz for you to complete. | ||||||
Additional information | Please have a copy of your current Schools Block Funding Statement and S251 Statement with you. Displayed fees are priced per delegate and are subject to VAT The course will be split into 2 sessions across the day 9:30 - 11.30 13.00 - 15.00 |
