This ZOOM webinar event replaces the planned Conference but will also validate any existing EVC with their 3 year update training.

Format and content of conference: - Intro presentation : Update on position of Educational visits - COVID-19 implications / H&S on Educational Visits Nov 2018 document / H&S monitoring outcomes / Training for EVC / emergency cards / M-Learning / today's presentations : EVOLVE Go / Pharos Emergency Support option / EVOLVE Visit Plan / Regulatory Services for Schools / New Badge accreditation
 
Followed by  
 
1) EVOLVE Go - Phone 'app' - is a mobile and tablet app for managing educational visits on the go -e.g. taking registers, contacting parents, accessing visit form and risk assessments, emergency planning - The New Emergency help 'app' to support your visit leaders. Schools can opt in to use this feature.

2) Pharos - Dealing with a critical incident - Julian Penny is an expert in H&S and crisis management involving travel and young people in and out of school -   and, this may come as a surprise, but Julian believes the benefits of outdoor learning usually outweigh the risks!.

3) Risk Management - Event Specific Plan - introduction to the new planning and risk assessment tool. 
 
4) Accreditation and Awards - Juniper's Badge system for certification, awards and accreditation. 

5) Compliance - Regulatory Services briefing
 
Plenary - Summing up - resources -next steps 
 
Every attendee will gain a 3 year EVC update renewal certificate. Full attendance is required for this certification and available to any existing EVC

There is a minimal reduced fee of £30 for this training 
 
 
Learning outcomes The conference is held in recognition of the important work undertaken by school Heads / EVCs and to support the EVC to fulfil their roles effectively with proportionate web-based processes, reducing bureaucracy and maintaining high quality, well managed educational visits.

The attendance at this training opportunity will extend the EVC update certificate for a further 3 years and ensure all attendees are following current good practice and procedures.
